Pay per click or pay per impression?

I’m going to put up some advertising on Facebook; though i can’t decide which would be better out out PPC or PPI?!
My understanding is that PPI would generate more views? Therefore the clicks i gain through PPI would be free? I’m a bit confused, please help!

If you chose PPC you would only pay for each time a visiter clicks on your advert. However, if you chose PPI you would be paying regardless if a visiter clicks on your advert.

Now which do you choose?
It depends on placement.

If PPC and PPI adverts are advertised the same way then you should definitely go with PPC. But if PPI adverts are advertised where there is a higher potential of visiters then it might be better to go PPI.

Do some strategic research on their ad placement and you should be able to make a good decision.

I highly suggest you stick to PPC simply because it converts better. The traffic that you’ll receive from Facebook just wont be as targeted.
